కమ్యూనిజం

సౌమ్య బజ్జులో ఈ టపా చూసి నా రొమేనియా స్నేహితుడ్ని వివరాలు అడిగాను. ఇంతవరకు నా మనసులో ఉన్న శ్రీశ్రీ గీసిన కమ్యూనిజం అనే అందమైన చిత్రమాలిక మీద రక్తం జల్లినట్టైంది, కమ్యూనిజమంటే భయం వేసింది.

Indian has not changed much.

In a desperate attempt to keep their political careers intact, Andhra Pradesh's congress leaders have resorted to yet another fatuous act. The Medak district is to be renamed as Indiramma district. Any sane citizen would be perplexed and outraged at this act after having seen an innumerable projects/schemes/constructions/rewards/awards named after gandhis and nehrus. There will certainly be a time when a bill gets through the Lok sabha and Rajya Sabha with an attestation from the President which says, "All the new born babies should be named Rajiv (boys) and Indira (girls)". 
 
 

లోక్ సత్తాకి ఓటేసి రాష్టాన్ని గెలిపించండి!

ఎక్కడబడితే అక్కడ అడ్డంగా దోచుకుతినే ప్రభుత్వాలు వెలుస్తున్న ఈ రోజుల్లో తన నిజాయితీతో, సేవలతో మంచి IAS ఆఫీసర్ గా ప్రజల మన్ననలందుకున్న జేపీ(జయ ప్రకాశ్) గారు ప్రజల నాయకుడిగా ముందుకు రావడం రాష్ట్ర ప్రజల అదృష్టం. ఒకడు కలర్‌ టీ.వీలంటాడు, ఇంకోడు బియ్యం, కరెంటూ ఫ్రీ, ఫ్రీ అంటాడు, మరొకడు నా రాష్ట్రం నాక్కావాలి ఇచ్చేయ్ మంటాడు, ఇహ చివరిగా వచ్చినోడు మీ గీత మీరే గీస్కోండంటాడు! అంతేగాని.. ఒక్కడు, ఒక్కడు.. ఒక్కడంటే ఒక్కడు "అరరే, మన రాష్ట్రం (మనవల్లే) ఇలా దరిద్రంలో నాని ముద్దవుతుందే, దీనికి ఇప్పుడన్నా ఏమన్నా చేసెడుద్దామా?" అన్న ఆలోచన చేయాడే? రాష్ట్ర ప్రజలకి ఇదే నా మనవి - పదే పదే అదే వలలో పడి మూతి పళ్ళు రాల్చుకున్నది చాలు. ఒక్కసారి తెరిపారా ఆయా పార్టీల ఎజెండాలకేసి ఎగాదిగా చూడండి. వాళ్ళేమేం చెప్తున్నారో, వాటి వెనుక వున్న భావాలేంటో తూకం వేసి చూసుకోండి. గుడ్డిగా ఓటు వేసి ఆ ఓటు హక్కుకున్న పవర్ ని కించపరచకండి! లోక్ సత్తా ఇచ్చిన వాగ్ధానాలను(మేనిఫెస్టో దింపుకోండి) ఒక్కసారి గమనించండి.

Student Voters

Note for IIITians:This is a copy-paste from my mail to students. So, skip it if you already have read it. I don't think one needs to remind the importance of vote, and the difference it makes when cast responsibly by every sensible citizen of a country with nearly half it's population termed as youth. To make it easier for students studying away from home, A.P Govt has taken a nice step. According to this, the college will be handed the responsibility(I guess voluntary) of availing the application forms and student study certificates which are needed, to register for vote as a student.

Is India left with no options?

Now it's known to everyone.. Tibet and China issue. Briefly the issue can be summarised as follows. China thinks, Tibet has been a part of China since a long time and it adds that it will continue to be so. There would not have been much problem if Tibetians are seen as their own citizens or atleast friendly neighbourhood. But, Tibetians, with the kind of treatment offered by Chinese govt, are offended. They say that their culture and values are not at all given any importance. For example, pubs and nude dances are not a part of Tibetian monks. But they happen there, day in and day out. Things like this accumulated and finally they broke out! This is not the first time that Tibetians revolted. There were many such incidents in the past. China with some kind of 'we'll-help-you-develop' reason, suppressed the revolutions. These days china has blocked over 160 or so websites saying they are threat to national integrity and security!
