There are many things that are very rapidly changing with me… they are,  so...  so rapid that even I could notice them! Of course,  if I could do that, people around could, as well… with more ease actually. This should better be a post in this blog, than an entry in my diary. It’s just because I want things done with some transparency, exceptions exist though. Now, what are they?

My views on open source.

I still prefer some software if it is open source, but now, with a pre condition, which says, ‘that open source product should at least be as useful/functional as  it’s counterpart in proprietary market, if any’

Being same old passionate guy who is still in love with the fluffy penguin for it’s gorgeous and outstanding functionality( Yes, I mean it! ), I recently happened to fall in love with another hot chick, who happens to be very  frequently abused by all the OS communities worldwide, Vista! But I found it a bit interesting, with my new lappy. I find my gadgets just work out of the box, like webcam(this works in linux too, but not as efficient as in vista), digital writing pad etc. And it possessed some applications which are recently reaching the personal computers, like handwritten character recognition, speech recognition(novice though), apart from others. I find my self spending more time with this new one :P

So, where am I? I hope I'm not lost!

Seriously guys, am I tooooo away from my natural attire? Few of my neighbors even stare at me, like.. what? Is that one who just passed by..  gopal? Hmm.. guys.. I wish I could share some of my school days pics with you. Unlucky me, there are very few of them, and they are not digital, rusting in an old album,  at home. But anyway, it happens with me now and then, especially when I feel like I need to have a breathe of new life, the first thing I do is, change few components of my life. I don’t mean to say.. ‘yay baby! Here comes the new/actual me!!’ what I mean to say is, ‘I switch modes where I’m bored with existing one’. My school days reflect one such modes. I always love that innocent, peaceful, ever smiling cute gopi at school! And shit happens as times change and today I just couldn't be him any longer...

Money

In one of those gatherings of start up saturdays that take place in IIIT Hyderabad, there is a discussion on what is it that binds so many people together to an organization? Almost all of us, except for one or two, came to a conclusion that it’s money! Ofcourse, as said, there are always individual motivations such as, ‘I always wanted to be this/that to serve my country or some other’ etc. but, your reason/motivation may not be the factor which binds others to the organization and vice versa. The most common one which stands out as intersection of all those factors is, money! Many people doesn’t feel comfortable expressing that. But the way it was done in that meeting, I liked it. And of course, I happened to differ on this notion with few of my peers.  But come on, I too have some moral ground on which I stand upon and claim these things. It’s not that money is the only thing, it just happened to be  the common one. I agree that without those moralities/motivations in doing something, no one can actually continue doing that.

Oh my! that’s already lengthy enough..  good day guys! errr..rr.. din't I mention that I chit-chatted with girls after.. hmm.. emm.. hmm.. 7 years? (I barely dare to start a conversation with a girl.. it always, from class 1 to today, turned out to be a fight, which is the most stupid conspiracy of my life. btw, this is freshers interactions stuff and yeah, boys-alone schools suck big time :( and IIIT, ofcourse is very close to them, with rare exceptions of whom we meet in our dreams :P )
