Funny that some friend once replied, "wet dreams!" :P Apart from that? Hmm... fortunately, I happened to read an article from Science Reporter, October 2008 issue. I have tried to extract some key points to be noted by EVERY fella who sincerely tries to be a metropolitan, to ensure his/her sanity!

Note : Soon, I'll rename & reform this 'linux tidbits' to include some other tech stuff as well. Till then I have to stuff things in even though they really have nothing to do with linux.
Cloud computing... quite a buzz word huh? The first time I heard the term, I couldn’t quite relate it to my life.

This guide helps you Install and Setup SVN and use it to manage and access a repository.
So, what is SVN? Hmm... It's a version control system, where you'll forget all the pains of working-developing-non-working kinda codes of your application. You can have as many rollbacks of your code as possible, just at the whelm of a command.

Found it here. Briefly it is something like this..
MIT's Computer Science, AI laboratory and other colleagues have been trying to find out what is the smallest amount of needed information to represent an image? It is said that the results/discovery could lead to great advances in the automated identification of online images and, ultimately, provide a basis for computers to see like humans do.

Our Aim : loose extra fat and get phat!
Point No 1 : Fat is fat! Be it in heart, on belly, in thighs or through out. DO NOT neglect it. It has to its credit, majority of the increasing number of unnatural deaths throughout the world. By unnatural, I mean death caused by some disease.

Each adult human requires atleast 3 litres of water a day. 4 litres recommended. 5 litres is max. Our body has two important cleansing systems. One is respiratory system and the other is excretory system. Ofcourse, in science, the former is treated a sub section of later. Water helps clean all the body, all the chemical substance which gets piled up in each cell. 'You nicely bath and think you are clean, we are stinking here, master!' says our cells communicating in the form of diseases.

I like linux more for its unexplored corners. It's got a surprise, a good surprise, everyday. You does some task better, today, than ever. 'It's just thrilling!' is what I want to say. I never minded the user friendliness or difficulty of configuring things in any distro, whatever be the way, as I'm used to it. So what does a user like me watch out for, in a new version of a distro?

Here is quick faq...
1. why is there a category on Computer Vision, in tidbits?
Ans. Simple.. because it's one of the fields I'm most interested in.
2. what does it do?
Ans. It keeps various communities of computer vision worldwide, in sync. which essentially means everyone in the community should know whats going on out there..
3. how does it happen?
Ans. We'll have a group of people to update this category. well.. this might take some time to happen.

This is useful in case you want to have something shared on one system(server) to access it from other system(client), without having to maintain duplicate copies. Here the server is a Linux PC, client can be either Linux/Windows. The method can also be tweaked and used for getting done several other things.

You might be in a good need to restrict others from using up more than the disk space they actual need. Or you may need to have restricted disk usage for a system which has more users and you cant really afford 50 GB each. Here we'll see an easy how to of setting up and managing the disk quotas in linux.

The number of people using dual boot systems is increasing exponentially. And one of the most used thing across them is mail client! Now, if there is some way out to use the same configurations, mail folders for clients running on both operating systems, oh! that would save lot of headache.
